THIRD EAR – as always seeking to define what the f*** it is we are actually doing out here in on the world wide wank attempting to infuse high quality programming in Danish about issues revolving around Danish arts and culture.
Kind of of a tough donkey to thrash up the ever growing hill of ‘impact on the daily media flow’ in one of Europes smaller nations.
Although somehow, oddly, it seems like exactly the right thing to do – nowhere else- and I really think I can say that with some assurance – is there anyone else in a position to do this without some kind of bullshit obligation to communicate after some kind of government agency or broadcasting organization approved plan – or fit into tight editorial constraints imposed by newspapers attempting to profile themselves in the new media landscape.
Third Ear is – until further notice – free to do whatever it wants to do - and will continue to do as long as we can keep going.
This year we’ll be putting out 10-12 super crafted audio podcast’s of a quality few can touch anywhere in the world – Third Ear believes in it’s simple philosophy of minimal quantity and maximum quality. We’ll be producing some interesting new music productions and a bunch of art performances and portraits in a style that we like, and collaborating with a few festivals and international projects to present and tie up the loose ends of cultural life as we see it , into a tight and presentable bundle some people will actually want to look at.
Watch this space – good things will happen here.
